This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your information when you use the Moonix companion application and related online services.

2.2 Device, Pairing, and Log Information
- Device model & OS
- Bluetooth device identifier
- IP address, logs, crash reports
- Device identifiers (Android ID, IDFV)
- Local notifications
- Local network discovery (iOS)
We do not collect precise GPS location.
We do not collect your phone's installed third-party app list.
We do not collect IMEI, IMSI, contact lists, SMS content, or similar identifiers.
2.3 Phone Number — Collection
Phone numbers are used for registration, SMS or carrier one-tap login, security, and support only.
2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies (Website vs App)
Website: we may use cookies for basic operation and preferences.
Mobile App: no browser cookies; local storage and SDK identifiers may be used for login, crash reporting, and optional analytics.
2.5 First Launch and Your Consent
On first launch, you must tap Agree and Continue before using the App.
2.6 Sensitive Personal Information (Voiceprint)
Voiceprint enrollment is optional and used for speaker identification.

5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account data: while your Account is active.
- After Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days.
- Conversation recordings: stored on your device for playback; not persisted as full audio files in the cloud.
- Transcription: audio is streamed via WebSocket during recording for real-time STT; not long-term cloud playback storage.
- Offline/local transcription may use bundled or downloaded models on-device.
- Offline AI model files may be bundled or downloaded; remain on your device until deleted.
- Voiceprint data: delete in the App or upon Account deletion.
- Shareable links remain accessible while shared.
- Transcripts, summaries, and metadata: stored on our servers while your Account is active; removed when you delete a conversation or Account.
- Server logs: up to 90 days; Bugly crash data up to 180 days.
5.1 Account Deletion
Delete your Account in the App: Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors
We share information only with processors that help us operate the Service.

7. Your Rights

9. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures.
10. Cross-Border Transfers
In principle, data is stored domestically. Cross-border transfer requires compliance with PIPL.
11. Minors and Children
The Service is intended primarily for adults.
Children under 14 must not register without verifiable guardian consent.
Users aged 14–17 should use the Service with guardian knowledge and consent.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy and will update the effective date.
